Overview of Methodology
language of architecture methodology overview

Key aspects are the use of a semantics which encompasses business processes, has a measure of objectivity (is not "Sun-only," or "so-and-so's theory"), with a goal to provide a "Dublin Core" of sorts of some 30-50 central business process architecture terms as a starting group. They must be cohesive so that a visual representation is possible. Key source of meaning: problems = content, or "unresolvable differences" shed most ample light on meaning.

The Dublin Core is a set of 15 terms which form elements for metadata, they generalize such things as author, vs. editor, vs. painter, vs. composer, etc. with singular encompassing terms like "creator."
