RDF and Topic Maps, with or without the Gnome/Linux venture, put Sun on the leading edge of the frontier for semantic web and information mining engineering. Use of relations and links as data leverages legacy structures without requiring retooling, and OMG-based warehousing standards become plug-and-play accessibility assets when Sun data is mapped to a central, secure model. The model, in turn, is standards based for warehousings with OMG/UML constructs and the security of data is maintained because XMuLator models the structure, not the content. |
