Apple's Indian Language Kit (ILK) is now in its Beta testing phase. I've been using it on my website for several months. It will enable full devanagari to be used, with HTML, over the Net-- as well as full search and retrieve, spellchecking, and other conveniences. Currently the accents for Vedic are not included, though it is possibly a task I will undertake after I complete my dissertation.

The GIF on which you just clicked (if you came here from the vedavid site) was made in Novell's WordPerfect 3.5, and captured with PICTify, a handy little screen capture extension which enables sizing and placement of an image from any application. Among other things, it enables Devanagari, Gujarati, Hindi, Pali and other language scripts to be used over the net, and with HTML.
