About the Devanagari GIF You Just Clicked:
from Apple's Forthcoming
Indian Language Kit

The GIF on which you just clicked was made in Novell's WordPerfect 3.5, and captured with PICTify, a handy little screen capture extension which enables sizing and placement of an image from any application. Among other things, it enables Devanagari, Gujarati, Hindi, Pali and other language scripts to be used over the net, and with HTML. The Indian Language Kit comes from Apple with the following objectives--taken from their website for pre-alpha developers (The SLIDE links only work if you're at the site, and have the password, if you're interested, e-mail me:
atman@vedavid.org to learn how to access this powerful Indian Language Software):

I used a screen capture to get this summary of Apple's ILK objectives, so the "slide" links don't work. You'd need the password anyway.
